Role Description
The Business Development Manager – Aerospace will be responsible for developing and growing Ibex’s new aerospace business,



focused on magnesium components manufactured using low-pressure sand casting and 3D-printed sand molds and cores.
The role will involve identifying new opportunities with aerospace and defence OEMs and Tier suppliers, generating and managing RFQs, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and building long-term customer relationships. The manager will work closely with engineering, production, machining, and quality teams to evaluate customer requirements, assess manufacturability, develop quotations, and support programs from initial enquiry through prototype, qualification, and production.
Key responsibilities include market research, lead generation, customer development, contract negotiation, sales forecasting, and identifying opportunities for lightweight magnesium castings, complex geometries, low-volume production, rapid development, localization, and import substitution.
