ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Engineering Architect to define and drive the long-term technology strategy for our Fintech & Payments Engineering Group.
You will provide architectural leadership across multiple product lines, partnering closely with Engineering Managers, Product leaders, and Business stakeholders to build resilient, scalable, secure, and AI-native financial platforms.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems at scale. You will influence technology direction across multiple teams, establish engineering standards, mentor senior engineers and architects, and ensure our platforms remain straightforward, extensible, and future-ready while operating at internet scale.

YOU (MUST HAVES)
10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years designing and building payment or fintech systems.
Expert-level system design skills — proven ability to architect complex, multi-system payment platforms from first principles.
Deep hands-on experience with one or more payment domains: payment gateways, UPI integrations, card payment flows, BNPL/EMI engines, wallet infrastructure, or settlement and reconciliation systems.
Mastery of distributed systems fundamentals in financial contexts: idempotency, exactly-once semantics, saga/outbox patterns, event sourcing, transactional messaging, and consisten
