Profile: Faculty Positions - Cinematography, Post-Production, Animation, Cinema Studies, Advertising Films, Corporate Films and News Documentary

We seek dynamic and experienced individuals to join our faculty in the above areas. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mentoring young talent, teaching, researching and supervising Student Film Productions.

Responsibilities:
Teach the above courses and develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and seminars that inspire students and foster critical thinking.
Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students, guiding them in developing their creative projects.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, such as AI in Production, Post Production, Animation and Editing in new-age media, and incorporate relevant updates into the curriculum.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to the academic community through research and publication.
Participate in student placements, administrative work, academic course development,



and other departmental activities as needed.
Plan and manage our student experiential film projects in Advertising, Fiction, Non-Fiction, News Documentary, Corporate Films, etc.

Qualifications:

A PhD degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and related areas with a proven track record of having published in leading SCOPUS, WoS and ABDC-indexed Journals or,
Those without a PhD and with more than 10 years of skilled experience at the highest level of the industry can also apply for Adjunct Faculty posts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
Industry experience and a commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
