- Conduct psychological assessments to understand residents’ emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to residents

- Develop and implement therapeutic intervention plans for residents with mental health concerns

- Support residents dealing with trauma, abandonment, addiction, or abuse

- Monitor and document residents’ progress and maintain confidential case records

- Work closely with social workers, caregivers, and medical staff for holistic care

- Handle crisis situations and provide immediate psychological support when required

- Conduct awareness sessions on mental health, coping strategies, and emotional well -being

- Assist in rehabilitation and reintegration planning for residents

- Identify residents requiring referral to psychiatrists or specialized care

- Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and policy development
