We are looking for a Project Manager with strong technical depth and proven leadership in managing end -to -end development of sophisticated engineering platforms. You will be responsible for leading a team of 12 software engineers through the complete product lifecycle—from architecture to deployment—ensuring the delivery of a high -performance, scalable, and accurate simulation platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a complex SaaS -based CAD and multi -physics simulation platform.
- Team Management: Manage, mentor, and inspire a cross -functional team of software engineers, UX developers, simulation experts, and QA Engineers.
- Agile Execution: Establish agile/scrum practices, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization to ensure iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Tech Oversight: Collaborate with technical leads to review architecture, code quality, and integration strategies with open -source libraries (e.g., OpenCASCADE, ParaView, Code_Aster, Elmer, OpenFOAM).
- Modeling & Simulation: Ensure the seamless development of 2D/3D CAD features, physics -based solvers, and post -processing tools.
- Validation & Testing: Oversee systematic validation and verification (V&V;) of simulation results and CAD features.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly Communicate with reporting head, product teams, and external stakeholders on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Platform Integration: Facilitate integration with external open -source and commercial simulation tools, and ensure interoperability via standard formats (STEP, STL, VTK, etc.).
Requirements
- Experience: 5–10 years of overall experience,
with at least 3 years in a technical project or product management role.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of CAD, CAE, or simulation software in multi -physics domains (mechanical, thermal, fluid, etc.).
- SaaS Expertise: Prior experience in leading cloud -native SaaS product development.
- CAD/Simulation Stack: Exposure to tools like OpenCASCADE, Gmsh, Elmer, Code_Aster, or similar open -source projects.
- Visualization: Understanding of 3D visualization libraries (e.g., VTK, Three.js, ParaView).
- Development Processes: Strong grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, version control, and QA/testing frameworks.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage medium -sized agile teams with clear delivery timelines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree (B.Tech / M.S. / Ph.D) in Mechanical/Computer/Software Engineering or related field.
- Experience integrating FEM solvers or mesh generation tools into platforms.
- Exposure to WebAssembly, cloud -native infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes), or scalable backend architecture.
