- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and chronic illnesses such as asthma and diabetes.
- Perform routine growth and developmental monitoring, including tracking milestones and identifying deviations.
- Administer and manage immunization schedules in compliance with national and institutional guidelines.
- Provide expert care in pediatric emergencies, including resuscitation, trauma, and acute illness management.
- Deliver high -quality care in NICU and PICU settings, including neonatal stabilization, monitoring, and coordination with neonatologists and critical care teams.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through follow -up visits and referrals.
- Offer evidence -based parent counseling on nutrition, behavior, developmental concerns, vaccination, and preventive health strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and clinical audits.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine through continuous professional development and medical literature.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (DCH or MD in Pediatrics).
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
- Minimum of 1 year of post -graduation clinical experience in a hospital or pediatric care setting.
- Proven expertise in pediatric diagnosis, growth monitoring, and developmental assessment.
- Hands -on experience in managing pediatric emergencies and critical care (NICU/PICU exposure preferred).
- In -depth knowledge of national immunization programs and vaccination protocols.
- Robust clinical decision -making skills with a patient -first approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in explaining medical information to parents and caregivers.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital health tools.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous learning.
