Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Bengaluru, India. As a GSA - F&B;, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing skilled and efficient service.

- Greet and welcome guests according to company standards, ensuring a positive first impression
- Take and process guest orders accurately, providing menu recommendations when appropriate
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any food-related issues




- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or functions
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and any changes in offerings
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining open communication

Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products, including menu items and preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
