- Perform a comprehensive range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair (TEP/TAPP), bowel resection, exploratory laparotomy, adhesiolysis, thyroidectomy, mastectomy, hemorrhoidectomy, fistulotomy, and wound debridement.

- Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments to determine surgical eligibility and plan interventions.

- Lead surgical teams during complex procedures, ensuring strict compliance with sterile technique, safety protocols, and evidence -based practices.

- Manage postoperative care, including recovery monitoring, complication management, and coordination with primary and specialty care providers.

- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all surgical procedures and patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR).

- Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, nurses, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, high -quality care.

- Participate in on -call duties to manage acute surgical emergencies such as trauma, acute abdomen, and postoperative complications.

- Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques, technology,



and clinical guidelines through ongoing education and professional development.

- Contribute to hospital -wide quality improvement, safety audits, and surgical outcome monitoring programs.
