Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Governance Engineer to implement and manage technical governance controls across the Medallion architecture. This role will focus on data entitlements, classification, and lineage tracking while ensuring governance frameworks are integrated with Snowflake and dbt across all Wave 1 data products. The candidate will also be responsible for capturing and managing structured metadata at the point of data source onboarding.

Experience: 3+ Years
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data engineering, or related roles
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
- Experience implementing data classification, access controls, and lineage tracking
- Familiarity with metadata management and data cataloging tools
- Understanding of medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
- Ability to integrate governance controls into modern data platforms
- Solid documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
