We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for precision machining operations while ensuring high-quality production standards. This role requires strong hands-on experience in CNC programming, CNC machine operation, and machine handling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a CNC Programmer, you will work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to manufacture components according to technical drawings and customer specifications. The role involves setting up machines, selecting tools, troubleshooting machining issues, and maintaining production efficiency while minimizing material wastage and machine downtime.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations.
- Operate CNC machines including milling, turning, drilling, and cutting machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately.
- Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on CNC machines.
- Monitor machining processes to ensure precision and product quality.
- Perform machine trials and make program adjustments when required.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot machine and programming issues to minimize downtime.




- Maintain proper documentation of machine settings, tooling, and production reports.
- Coordinate with quality and production teams for process improvements.
- Follow workplace safety standards, machine maintenance procedures, and manufacturing best practices.
- Optimize cycle times and improve machining efficiency for better productivity.
- Conduct routine machine inspections and support preventive maintenance activities.

Required Skills

Must-Have Skills

- Robust experience in CNC Programming
- Hands-on expertise in CNC Operation
- Experience working as a Machine Operator
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming
- Understanding of machining processes and tooling concepts
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;
- Experience with machine setup and tool offset adjustments
- Familiarity with production and manufacturing workflows

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Production, Tool & Die, or related field
- Experience working with CNC milling, VMC, HMC, or turning centers
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is an added advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle production targets effectively

Experience Required

- 3 to 15 years of relevant experience in CNC programming and machine operations
