Job Title: Technical Documentation/Proofreader

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced qualified with 5+ years in Automotive Aftermarket Spare Parts Information (SPI) to lead parts catalogue development and ensure high-quality delivery across projects. The role involves managing engineering changes, driving quality and process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. You will also mentor team members, support project execution, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strong expertise in BOM structures, engineering drawings, and PLM tools like Windchill is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end ownership of parts catalogue development and maintenance across multiple projects, while managing complex multi-team workflows effectively
Drive decision-making on engineering changes, impact analysis, and implementation strategies
Interpret and validate complex engineering drawings, BOM hierarchies and product structures
Establish and enforce quality standards; proactively identify trends and drive defect reduction initiatives




Lead root cause analysis (RCA) discussions and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Provide expert-level inputs and guidance to team for high-quality visual outputs
Act as a key interface between production team, quality and customer stakeholders
Support project performance tracking by managing priorities and ensuring adherence to timelines and delivery commitments.
Mentor and guide junior engineers; support capability development within the team
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardization, and process optimization across projects.

Skills & Qualifications

Extensive experience in Automotive_Aftermarket - Parts Catalouge
Strong expertise in WINDCHILL or similar PDM/PLM/Authoring tools and workflow systems
Deep understanding of engineering drawings, BOM hierarchies, product strcture
Proven experience in quality management, RCA, and continuous improvement
