Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to
- the testing team. Mentor team members on test automation best practices, coding
- standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Lead the design and development of scalable
- and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Designing and developing test automation
- scripts on Typescript/Javascript using Puppeteer, Playwright and Jest etc.
- Should have a mindset of Automation First approach.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Continuously improve testing processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Identify opportunities for automation and streamline manual testing. efforts.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Track quality assurance metrics and reliability
- Collaborating with Software Developers to develop QA solutions to prevent defects and accelerate delivery.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools,



and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Skills andExpertise
- At least 7 or more years of overall software development/ quality assurance experience, the majority in QA Automation
- Good knowledge of Playwright, an end-to-end testing automation framework, OR advanced experience with a JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation solution Advanced experience with popular automation frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
- Must have excellent programming skills on a core coding language. Preferably Python.
- You have experience testing contemporary web applications built with ReactJS and/or Django framework.
- Advanced knowledge in some python bases performance benchmarking or load testing tool like Locust etc.
- Must have good experience with any REST API automation such as Pytest/FastAPI/Flask etc.
