Role Description We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Salt Lake, Kolkata. The candidate will be responsible for independently handling and reviewing GST, TDS, Professional Tax and other tax compliance assignments , along with accounting and financial statement-related work.




The role requires regular interaction with clients, analysis of financial and tax data, timely statutory compliance and coordination with the firm's Chartered Accountants, legal professionals and other team members.
Handle monthly and quarterly GST compliance , including preparation, review and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns .
Perform GST reconciliation between books, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, purchase records and other relevant data.
Identify and resolve GST mismatches, input tax credit issues and other compliance discrepancies.
Assist with TDS return correction statements , notices, defaults and reconciliation with Form 26AS/AIS/TDS records.
Handle Professional Tax (PTAX) compliance, including registration, monthly/periodic calculations, payment and return filing, wherever applicable.
Prepare and review tax computations, reconciliations and supporting workings.
