We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer – SDET to drive quality engineering, test automation, and software development initiatives across front-end and back-end applications. This role is ideal for a strong software engineer who combines hands-on programming expertise with a deep understanding of automation, quality engineering, cloud platforms, and contemporary software development practices.

You will play a key role in building scalable automation frameworks, developing automated and unit tests, validating production applications, and embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites for front-end and back-end applications.
- Develop automated and unit tests using Python, Java, or Node.js/JavaScript.
- Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming, software design,



and engineering principles to test automation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Develop and execute test scenarios using Gherkin and BDD methodologies.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues across applications, APIs, and distributed services.
- Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Support testing and deployment of cloud-based applications, particularly within AWS environments.
- Validate distributed systems and messaging platforms such as Kafka, Amazon SQS, and Kinesis.
- Participate actively in Agile/Lean practices, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
- Manage test cases, defects, and project documentation using Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
