This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on building and operating high-performance, real-time software systems for next-generation transportation infrastructure.
You will work at the core of a platform that combines roadway technology, sensors, data infrastructure, and AI-enabled analytics to deliver real-time operational insights.
The role offers broad ownership across system design, algorithm development, data processing, deployment, and ongoing operations.
You will develop production-grade services and algorithms primarily in C++, while also working with Go, Python, cloud infrastructure, and modern deployment technologies.
A key part of the role involves transforming historic and simulated data into rigorous testing and validation workflows before systems reach live environments.
You will work independently in an environment that values initiative, thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools,



robust engineering judgment, and end-to-end ownership.

Accountabilities
Translate high-level and sometimes ambiguous requirements into robust system designs, technical solutions, and production-ready implementations.
Own features and systems throughout their complete lifecycle, from initial development and testing through production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations and maintenance.
Design, build, tune, and operate high-throughput, low-latency services using C++, Go, and Python.
Develop and optimize production-facing algorithms for tracking, inference, sensor fusion, and other real-time intelligence use cases.
Use historic and simulated datasets to iterate, test, tune, and rigorously validate algorithms and system behavi
