About this role / Job Summary

Experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional. Establishes sourcing goals and acceptable service levels. Responsible for negotiating and administering contracts and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing and reliability of supply.

Key Responsibilities




Lead global sourcing initiatives for the Electromechanical/ Proprietary electrical product category, driving cost reduction, supply base optimization, and risk mitigation. Category includes products such as wire harnesses, electrical control boxes, heaters, drives, ignitors, inverters, transformers, contactors, switches, sensors, and related electromechanical assemblies.
Build and validate a pipeline of cost reduction opportunities using spend analytics and design/commercial levers such as LPP (Linear Performance Pricing), Best Source to Buy, Cost vs. Index, Parametric Modelling, Contract Analysis, VAVE, SKU Rationalization, and Resourcing.
Perform detailed should-cost analysis and cost modeling to identify savings opportunities.
Lead supplier negotiations using structured negotiation strategies and fact-based negotiation packs to secure value for the enterprise while maintaining long-term supplier relationships.
