Role Description The Chartered Accountant, Technical Accounting Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for leading technical accounting research, interpreting accounting standards, and advising on complex transactions and new guidance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing technical memos, ensuring accurate financial statement presentation, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams on accounting implications of business initiatives. The role also involves maintaining internal accounting policies, driving process improvements, and providing training and guidance to finance and operational teams on technical accounting matters.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Accounting and Accounting skills, with a solid understanding of relevant standards and frameworks.
Candidates should possess expertise in Technical Accounting Research and the ability to interpret and apply new guidance to complex transactions.




Candidates should possess experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to evaluate data, identify issues, and propose practical solutions.
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent professional certification.
Experience in a technical accounting, audit, or controllership role, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting topics to non-specialists.
Proficiency in Excel and common accounting/ERP systems; familiarity with internal controls and compliance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
