Manager – International Tax

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager – International tax to join our International tax and Transaction Tax Services (ITTS) practice. The role will focus on supporting US-based clients, particularly in the financial services and investment funds sector, on complex international tax matters, cross-border transactions, fund structuring and tax-efficient operating models.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of international tax, US tax concepts and cross-border advisory matters (including PFIC, CFC, GILTI, ECI, WHT, PE, TP and accounting for income tax matters).
The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management, client relationship management and people leadership skills with responsibility for managing engagements, delivering high-quality tax advice, coordinating with EY network offices and mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications and experience
Skilled qualification such as CA/ CPA/ CFA or equivalent preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in international tax / M&A; / Transaction tax / Cross border tax advisory in a client facing role.
Prior experience with a leading professional services firm preferred.
Robust exposure to international taxation, including cross-border structuring, treaty analysis, withholding tax, permanent establishment matters.
Exposure to financial services sector will be an advantage.
