Responsibilities

Strategic and Planning:
- Define and drive the sourcing and cost optimization strategy for the Bought Out category.
- Prepare and manage Bought Outs Budget for Engineering & ACGi.
- Drive long-term business continuity and ensure compliance with business rules.
- Oversee inventory management—monitor, review, and drive actions to reduce free and non-moving inventory.

Functional Core:
- Conduct spend analysis to identify high-cost part families and cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate vendor strengths and weaknesses and implement improvement plans.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers based on QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) parameters.
- Drive de-risking initiatives by developing alternate sources and onboarding new technology suppliers.




- Lead commercial settlements and rate contracts with synergy and high-value suppliers.
- Monitor and adopt recent products and technologies relevant to ACG's machine manufacturing business.
- Ensure strong process orientation, identifying and bridging operational gaps.
- Demonstrate awareness of automation and bought-out components such as HMI, PLC, servo motors, switchgears, drives, pneumatics, sensors, IPCs, and bearings.
- Drive digital initiatives such as Sourcing Analytics, SRM, ME11/ME12, MRO Outsourcing, and Online Auctions.
- Utilize SAP MM module for material management, sourcing, and vendor evaluation processes.
- Lead cross-functional teams (CFTs) for strategic sourcing and cost-reduction projects.
