Your role and responsibilities:
Our IoT solutions are market-leading for monitoring motors, rotating machines, drives, buildings, infrastructure, and utilities. We are expanding our development capacity to accelerate feature releases. You will join a global agile development team of 30+ developers, product owners, and architects to deliver high-quality, scalable digital solutions.
This role is contributing to the Motion Business Service Division in Bangalore India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Design and implement product features in collaboration with developers, architects, product owners, and domain experts.
- Develop production-grade Python code for industrial IoT and timeseries data analytics applications.
- Build scalable data-processing algorithms using machine-learning-based and deterministic approaches.
- Develop backend services, web applications, and REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask. Design and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes for large-scale timeseries datasets.
- Write unit, integration, and component test cases following software engineering best practices. Deploy and operationalize solutions on Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions and Azure Databricks.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and drive continuous improvements.
Qualifications for the role :
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of software development experience, including at least 4 years of robust production-grade Python development.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and software design skills with expertise in OOP, data structure
