Software Engineer - ServiceNow Developer (SPM Focus)

About the role:
What you'll do:
ServiceNow Platform Development
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices.- Develop and support Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Knowledge workflows, and automated business processes.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and web services.
- Perform platform upgrades, code reviews, defect resolution, and technical documentation.- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, design reviews, backlog grooming, and release management.

Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow SPM modules including:
- Demand Management
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
- Agile Development
- Resource Management
- Investment Funding
- Portfolio Planning
- Strategic Planning (positive to have )
- Support end-to-end demand intake, project lifecycle management, resource allocation, capacity planning, and portfolio governance processes.




- Configure project templates, funding models, resource plans, portfolio dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Develop reports and executive dashboards to provide visibility into portfolio health, strategic initiatives, resource utilization, and project delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with PMOs, Portfolio Managers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SPM solutions.
- Assist in SPM data migration, platform adoption initiatives, and continuous process improvements.

What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with: JavaScript, ServiceNow Scripting Framework, Flow Designer, Business, Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, ACLs
