Sales Assistant - Chikankari & Fashion Business

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, phone calls and website.
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable Chikankari fabrics, sarees, kurta fabrics, dupattas and other products.
- Explain product details including fabric, embroidery, colour, size, price and availability.
- Follow up with customers who have shown interest in products.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed orders and maintain proper customer communication.
- Assist customers before and after purchase and provide a smooth shopping experience.
- Coordinate with the packing/dispatch team regarding confirmed orders.
- Maintain basic records of customer enquiries, follow-ups and sales.
- Help showcase new products and offers to customers through WhatsApp and social media.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
- Maintain proper knowledge of the products and authentic Lucknow Chikankari.




- Good communication skills and a polite, customer-friendly personality.
- Interest in fashion, têxtiles, Chikankari and traditional Indian crafts.
- Comfortable communicating with customers on WhatsApp and social media.
- Basic computer and smartphone knowledge.
- Ability to explain products confidently and professionally.
- Valuable follow-up and sales skills.
- Previous experience in sales, fashion, têxtile or retail business will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to learn can also apply.
