Job Summary
The Senior Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the sales activities within a designated geographical area for Bard India Healthcare Private Limited, focusing on achieving sales targets and expanding market share for our medical devices and healthcare solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for medical devices and healthcare products within the designated area.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team performance.
- Identify current business opportunities, cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, hospital administrators, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee the negotiation of contracts and agreements with healthcare institutions and distributors.
- Collaborate with marketing, product management, and other internal teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
