Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or GRC as needed
- Build and maintain Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs, and script includes
- Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems
- Create and maintain Service Portal widgets and custom UI components
- Participate in platform upgrades, ensuring custom code and configurations remain compatible
- Write clean, well-documented,
and testable code following ServiceNow best practices and coding standards
- Perform unit testing, support UAT, and troubleshoot defects across development, test, and production instances
- Collaborate with architects and admins on data model design, ACL/security architecture, and performance optimization
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and demos
- Create technical documentation, including design specs, release notes, and knowledge base articles
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideForm, GlideSystem), and server/client-side scripting
- Experience with Flow Designer, I
