Sourcing Manager - Electronics Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Sourcing Manager - (Supply Chain) Specialist to support our R&D; and hardware engineering teams in sourcing electronic components and hardware materials. This role is crucial for managing the supplier base, ensuring the availability of high-quality components, mitigating supply risks, and enabling quick-paced innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement ○ Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, connectors, and other R&D; hardware materials. ○ Lead sourcing activities including RFQs, negotiations, and supplier selection with focus on quality, cost, and lead time. ○ Establish and maintain supplier contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- R&D; Support ○ Collaborate closely with engineering and R&D; teams to understand technical requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly.





○ Support prototype builds and pre-production sourcing by ensuring component availability and identifying alternates.
- Supplier & Risk Management ○ Develop strong supplier relationships to support innovation, agility, and resilience. ○ Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits, and manage risks related to obsolescence, single-source dependencies, and geopolitical factors. -Cost Management

○ Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering in collaboration with design and manufacturing teams. ○ Balance cost competitiveness with mínimal inventory and just-in-time delivery for R&D; needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration ○ Work with internal stakeholders including R&D;, Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align sourcing goals. ○ Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure timely sourcing decisions. Qualifications:
