Job Description: Field Government Network Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Network Support Engineer to provide on-site installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for government projects across the Tricity region.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install and troubleshoot fire alarm systems.
- Configure and maintain firewalls and network security devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, server, and printers.
- Handle LAN/WAN setup, network cabling, switches, routers, and connectivity issues.
- Provide on-site technical support at various government locations across Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain service reports, installation records, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors,



and government officials for project execution and support.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV installation and configuration.
- Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems.
- Experience with firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of desktop, printer, router, switch, and network troubleshooting.
- Positive understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.

Mandatory Requirement
- Two-wheeler is mandatory for site visits.
- Valid driving license required.

Education

Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

Experience in government projects, field support, network infrastructure, surveillance systems, or system integration projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
