Job Details:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality of aerospace products from inception to completion, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead the team of Quality Engineers to ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the quality of products and processes.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in quality.
- Collaborate with the Design Engineers and the Manufacturing team to ensure the quality of the product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Handle customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure the quality of the valves and other aerospace components.
- Provide training and guidance to the team on quality standards and best practices.
- Prepare and present quality reports to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management in the aerospace big parts.
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standards..
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Professional certification in Quality Management or a related field would be an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
