Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more Applications Development teams in an effort to accomplish established goals as well as conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
- Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual data in complicated and unique situations
- Impact the Applications Development area through monitoring delivery of end results, participate in budget management, and handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Required Technical Expertise:
- Java Ecosystem: Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
- Frontend Technologies: Hands-on experience with Angular (v12+) or React, TypeScript, RxJS, State Management (NgRx/Redux), HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
- Microservices Architecture: Deep understanding of microservices design patterns, API gateways, service discovery, and event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Database Technologies: Experience with relational databases ( Oracle) and NoSQL databases.
- DevOps & Tools: Proficiency with Git/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/Harness, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Security Standards: Solid understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, OAuth2, OIDC, and secret management (HashiCorp Vau
