To be successful as a Test Automation Engineer, you should have experience with:
- Strong with Functional and E2E Test understanding.
- Solid expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in API testing and automation (REST/SOAP using tools like Postman, RestAssured, Karate).
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, or similar for automation scripting).
- Knowledge of Banking domain.
- Ability to Leverage AI for Test Optimization, Data Analysis, etc.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, SDLC,
and Agile methodologies.
- Detailed design for test engineering solutions and verification of this with test team stakeholders and Test architecture and design authorities
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Knowledge of Payments domain (such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, real-time payments).
- Exposure to test management tools (such as JIRA, Confluence)
