- Singapore is the global billing entity
- Sales are executed via Shopify stores across multiple countries:
- Collections happen through Payoneer, PayPal, COD, and local gateways:
- Distribution is managed via 3PL warehouses globally:
- Multi-entity structure with cross-border taxation and compliance requirements

Role ObjectiveTo manage end-to-end taxation (India + international jurisdictions) and support Accounts Payable for overseas entities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting across multiple countries.Key Responsibilities1. International Taxation (Primary Responsibility)
- Manage VAT / GST / Sales Tax compliance across countries (US, UK, EU, etc.)
- Coordinate with local consultants / tax advisors in respective jurisdictions
- Ensure timely:
- Tax registrations
- Filings and payments
- Compliance with local regulations
- Track and reconcile:
- Output tax (based on Shopify sales)




- Input tax credits (where applicable)

2. India Taxation
- Handle GST compliance:
- Return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Reconciliation (GSTR-2B vs books)
- Support in:
- Income tax computations
- TDS compliance
- Manage GST implications on:
- Exports (India → Singapore / global)
- Domestic sales

3. Accounts Payable (Overseas Entities)
- Process and account for:
- 3PL and logistics invoices
- Shipping and freight costs
- Digital marketing (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Ensure:
- Proper cost allocation (country-wise / SKU-wise if required)
- Timely vendor payments
- Vendor reconciliation

4. Tax Reconciliation & Controls
- Reconcile:
- Tax payable vs returns filed
- Sales vs tax reported (Shopify vs filings)
- Identify gaps in:
- Tax collection
- Ensure compliance with place of supply rules across jurisdictions

5. Data Management & Reporting
- Prepare:
- Country-wise tax summ
