Job title: Business Development Manager - Travel (EdTech Travel Firm)

About the Role
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth for our EdTech travel vertical — partnering with schools, colleges, universities, and education consultants to sell educational tours, and experiential learning trips. You'll own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing institutional partnerships.

Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard schools, colleges, universities, and education boards for educational tours and travel-learning programs.
- Build and manage a pipeline of B2C (institutions) and parents/students) leads.
- Design customized travel-cum-learning packages in collaboration with academic and operations teams.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with institutional clients and channel partners.
- Represent the company at education fairs, school events, and travel expos to generate leads.
- Build long-term relationships with school principals, trip coordinators, and education consultants. Track market trends in EdTech, study-abroad,



and student travel segments to identify recent opportunities. Meet and exceed quarterly revenue and partnership targets.
- Coordinate with marketing for lead-gen campaigns targeting schools/parents. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and CRM pipeline updates for management.
- Perform Cold Calls and coordinate with other teams

Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in business development/sales, preferably in travel, EdTech, or education services.
- Proven track record of closing B2B deals with institutions (schools/colleges) or channel partners.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel for client meetings, school visits, and events.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot). Understanding of the education ecosystem (school calendars, decision-makers, procurement cycles) is a plus. Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
