Assistant Sales Manager - AP

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary and secondary sales and achieve assigned sales targets across the territory.
- Manage and strengthen the sales and distribution network across assigned AP markets.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with distributors, retailers, HORECA customers, and key market stakeholders.
- Identify potential business partners and support the appointment of new distributors.
- Drive market expansion by identifying new territories, outlets, customers, and business opportunities.
- Plan and execute brand promotion, visibility, BTL, and market activation activities.
- Ensure effective outlet/customer coverage, beat planning, merchandising, and sales execution.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, product availability, and customer feedback.
- Track sales performance and prepare regular reports, forecasts, and market action plans.




- Ensure optimum stock availability and effective inventory management across the distribution network.
- Identify market gaps and implement corrective action plans to improve sales and distribution.
- Travel extensively across the assigned territory to ensure strong market coverage and execution.

- Relevant experience in FMCG or HORECA sales.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the assigned Andhra Pradesh markets.
- Proven experience in team handling and sales team management.
- Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales.
- Experience in distributor management and new distributor appointment.
- Proven ability to drive market expansion and business development.
- Experience in brand promotion and market activation activities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, planning, analytical, and execution skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
