- ROLE OVERVIEW
- As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Defence, you will independently own complete mechanical and piping design packages for defence projects — from concept through fabrication-ready drawings. You will bring deep expertise in mechanical and piping design for defence-sector equipment, lead design reviews,



and act as the technical design authority on your projects, reviewing and guiding the work of associate and junior designers.
- This role is suited to an experienced design engineer who can independently drive design packages for complex, mission-critical equipment, resolve cross-functional design issues, and mentor junior designers.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently own end-to-end mechanical and piping design packages for assigned defence projects — from concept through detailed fabrication drawings
- Lead 3D modelling of complex equipment (skids, ducts, enclosures, flares, burners) and piping systems, ensuring layout practicality and spatial coordination
- Produce and approve 2D manufacturing drawings — fabrication drawings, detailed part drawings, piping isometrics, and assembly drawings — with correct tolerancing and welding information
- Translate PFDs, P&IDs;, and defence-specific technical requirements
