Purchase Executive - Vapi

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Job Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
- Source materials, collect quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with vendors.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and purchase requirements.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, and other departments.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, vendor details, and MIS reports.
- Monitor material requirements, stock levels, and procurement schedules.
- Identify alternate vendors and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Verify invoices, commercial terms, GST/HSN details, and other purchase documents.
- Handle vendor-related issues regarding quality, price, delivery, and payment terms.




- Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.

Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.

Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems.

Good understanding of Purchase Orders, quotations, inventory, and procurement documentation.

Good communication and follow-up skills.

Graduate in any discipline; relevant qualification in Purchase/SCM will be an advantage.

Current Vapi purchase roles commonly emphasize vendor management, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO handling, timely delivery follow-up, Excel/ERP, and coordination with Stores/Production/Accounts

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
