Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate inventory management across warehouses and storage locations.
- Conduct stock reconciliation and ensure timely closure of inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor and control warehouse damages, shortages, and inventory variances.
- Track expiry and near-expiry inventory and coordinate timely action to minimize losses.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and operational procedures.
- Coordinate and participate in monthly physical stock audits at multiple warehouse locations.
- Investigate inventory mismatches and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain inventory records and prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure inventory accuracy and smooth material flow.
- Support process improvements to enhance inventory control and operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Prior experience in Food Manufacturing is mandatory.
- Experience in FMCG or Consumer Products industry will be an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of inventory reconciliation, stock audits, warehouse controls, and inventory reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar ERP) is preferred.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Travel Requirement
- Must be open to travelling for monthly stock-taking activities at multiple warehouse locations as required.
