Job Description - QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Validate backend data through database testing and SQL queries.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect-tracking systems.
- Analyze requirements and identify potential risks, gaps, and edge cases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain QA documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing strategies, and quality standards.

Requirements:
Mandatory Skills




- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong experience in API Testing.
- Good knowledge of Database Testing and SQL.
- Experience with Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and Sanity Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with defect management and tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.Positive to Have
- Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with performance or security testing.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, RDS, or similar services.
