Position Overview

BharatCares is looking for a passionate Project Coordinator - CSR Programs to lead the implementation of a community-based adolescent empowerment project in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. The role involves coordinating field implementation, strengthening adolescent leadership, engaging government stakeholders, facilitating capacity-building initiatives, and ensuring quality execution of project activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Field Coordination
- Lead day-to-day implementation and coordination of project activities across assigned villages.
- Prepare implementation plans, activity calendars, and field schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate with field teams, community volunteers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project milestones and address implementation challenges proactively.

2. Capacity Building of Adolescent Leaders
- Build the capacity of Kishori Leaders (Priya Sakhis) and Girl Champions on life skills, leadership, communication, health, and project themes.




- Mentor Girl Champions to independently facilitate life skills and awareness sessions within schools and communities.
- Monitor session quality and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Strengthen youth leadership and peer-learning mechanisms.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Community Mobilisation
- Conduct orientation sessions for ASHAs, Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), teachers, Gram Panchayat members, and other community stakeholders.
- Build solid partnerships with schools, ICDS, health departments, and local institutions.
- Organize community meetings, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder consultations.
- Promote community ownership and participation in project activities.

4. Strengthening Access to Health & Government Services
- Facilitate linkages between adolescent girls and government health services, including Health Posts, PHCs, and other public health facilities.
