Job Summary

The Primary English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students in Grades I-V. The teacher will foster strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while creating a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment that promotes holistic development.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills.
- Use interactive teaching methods, storytelling, phonics, activities, and technology to enhance learning.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Assess student performance regularly and maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide constructive feedback and implement remedial support for students requiring additional assistance.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, communication, and confidence through classroom activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a protected, positive,



and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, academic planning, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to achieve academic excellence.
- Integrate values, life skills, and 21st-century learning practices into classroom instruction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Certification in Phonics or English Language Teaching will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/International school.
- Experience teaching Primary Grades (I-V) is preferred.
