Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by leading the sales team, insurance advisor, developing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and building robust relationships with customers and insurance partners. The role involves recruiting, training, motivating, and monitoring the sales force while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with IRDAI guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Generate new business through direct sales, referrals, corporate tie-ups, and channel partnerships.
- Drive sales of Life, Health, Motor, Travel, Personal Accident, and General Insurance products.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Increase revenue through cross-selling and upselling of insurance products.

Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor,



and develop Relationship Managers, Insurance Advisors, and Sales Executives.
- Allocate sales targets and monitor individual performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Motivate the team through incentives, recognition, and performance improvement plans.
- Ensure productivity and discipline within the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and corporate clients.
- Handle high-value customer interactions and resolve escalated complaints.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Support the team in closing large or strategic business opportunities.

Operational Responsibilities
- Monitor daily sales activities and pipeline management.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, MIS, and CRM records.
- Ensure timely policy issuance, renewals, and documentation.
