Job Summary
Job Summary: Responsible for implementation, configuration, and optimization of network security controls across enterprise environments, focusing on firewalls, proxy solutions, and IPS/IDS systems. Engage with key users to understand business needs, challenges, and goals. Support in developing (technology) solutions on domain level aligned with organizational objectives. Define domain related processes and policies including complementary documentation. Support and consult in IT projects as well as lead domain initiatives including ensuring successful execution from planning to completion. Customize existing systems to meet specific user requirements (domain specific). Evaluate and recommend recent processes/technologies for efficiency and effectiveness. Provide (technical) assistance to key users. Conduct training sessions on processes and potential software and hardware usage for domain specific topics. Analyse complex issues and propose effective solutions. Produce reports to guide decision-making. Manage enterprise firewalls, IPS/IDS, web proxy/SWG,
WAF, and DDoS technologies
Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN, and segmentation rules - Deploy and manage proxy / secure web gateway solutions with filtering, SSL inspection, and access control - Configure and tune IDS/IPS solutions to detect and prevent security threats - Implement network segmentation and Zero Trust principles - Perform firewall and proxy rule audits and security hardening - Integrate network security tools with SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk) and other security platforms - Provide L3 troubleshooting and incident response support - Ensure compliance with security standards like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS - Maintain documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams.
Skill Requirement: - Relevant Experience should be 5-7 years. - Firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/FTD - Proxy / Secure Web Gateway: Zscaler, Blue Coat, Netskope
