Role Overview

The Manufacturing Systems Engineer plays a critical role in enabling highly automated, productive, and world-class semiconductor wafer fabrication operations. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing information systems—including MES, dispatching/scheduling engines, WIP management tools, data integration platforms, and reporting dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

1. MES & Manufacturing System Support




- Support day-to-day operations of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and interconnected fab-wide manufacturing support systems like FDC, APC, OCAP, RMS, TMS, ERP, RTD, AMHS, etc.
- You will be responsible for one or more manufacturing systems.
- In this role, you will lead and collaborate with IT and other relevant stakeholders and end-users for developing requirements, enabling a high-performance robust system, training and continual improvements
- Ensure system stability, performance, and high availability for 24x7 fab operations.

2. System Integration & Automation
- Integrate MES with factory automation systems (AMHS), equipment interfaces (SECS/GEM, EDA), engineering systems, ERP, CRM, Quality/Test systems, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with IT teams on data flows, system architecture, and interface reliability.
- Develop or support solutions for automated decision-making, workflow automation, and rule-based processing.
