The Civil Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing client and subcontractor bills for industrial construction projects. The role involves quantity measurement, preparation of running account (RA) bills, reconciliation of quantities, certification of contractor bills, and coordination with project, planning, and finance teams to ensure timely billing and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing & Quantity Estimation
- Prepare client RA bills and final bills based on executed work.
- Measure and verify quantities as per approved drawings and site execution.
- Maintain billing records, quantity reconciliation statements, and supporting documents.
- Track billed vs. executed quantities and identify variations.
- Contractor Billing
- Verify and certify subcontractor/vendor bills.
- Review work orders, contracts, and BOQ items for billing compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals before bill processing.
- Cost Control & Reconciliation
- Prepare quantity reconciliation reports for major construction materials such as concrete, steel,
and structural components.
- Monitor project progress against billed quantities.
- Assist in cost monitoring and budget tracking.
- Variation & Claims Management
- Identify extra items, deviations, and scope changes.
- Prepare variation orders and supporting documentation for client approval.
- Support claim preparation related to quantity and scope changes.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning engineers, and clients for bill certification.
- Prepare periodic billing status reports and cash flow inputs.
- Support audits and project documentation requirements.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
