The Tools and Automation team is responsible for building tools across Google Operations business using all internal technologies across Google ecosystem. This is a very unique team which not only builds smart solutions but also influences other engineering solutions to meet the operations team's needs. As a Developer Lead - Tools and Automation, you will be responsible to manage a team of technical skilled individuals who would build and implement various automation solutions and tools for customers across the globe.

Position Responsibilities
- Leading the Automation engineers while coaching them to deliver the right business solutions.




- Design/Architecture review of the automation framework and for any recent automation ideas.
- Identify and determine automation opportunities to gain maximum business value and operational efficiency gain.
- Build strategy on current transformation opportunities across business areas considering a long term view.
- Program manage businesses automation initiatives to deliver its desired outcomes.
- Own and track the automation initiatives till closure while creating visibility across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent english communication (both written and oral), strong problem-solving approach with the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
- 10+ years of technology experience and knowledge where you have been exposed to leading technology teams while coding, frontend engg, dashboards, reporting, scripting, databases, etc. and have built/executed end to end soluti
