Production Engineer Drive Factory Performance Job Description Who you are/: To regularly fulfil daily, weekly, and monthly volume targets, plan and carry out daily shop/-floor manufacturing schedules across machining, fabrication, or assembly lines. To increase throughput, compare line cycle times to takt times, balance lines, remove bottlenecks in the process, and use lean tools. To maximise shift productivity and reduce idle hours, optimise labour deployment, machine capacity utilisation, material handling flows, and tooling availability. To reduce scrap and rework, make sure operators strictly follow SOPs and work instructions; look into production non/-conformances; and put in place quick process controls. Work closely with the Quality Control, Maintenance, Tool Room,



and Supply Chain teams to promptly address equipment downtime, material shortages, and tooling problems.
