Roles & Responsibilities

Research and investigate news stories in Pune and surrounding areas. Conduct interviews with sources and subjects. Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles. Report on-camera for news segments. Attend press conferences and community events. Collaborate with editors and production team. Maintain ethical journalism standards and accuracy. Build and maintain relationships with local sources.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
2+ years of reporting experience, preferably in local news




Robust writing and storytelling skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Knowledge of current events and local issues

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with on-camera reporting
Familiarity with Pune and surrounding areas
Strong research and fact-checking abilities
Excellent communication and interviewing skills
