Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Manufacturing Processes:Deep understanding of manufacturing processes for electronics parts and machined, plastics components. Materials:Knowledge of various material grades and their suitability for specific applications in electrical and electronics manufacturing. Surface Treatment:Familiarity with surface treatment processes like painting, plating, and powder coating. APQP:Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and its application in part development. Quality Tools:Proficiency in using quality tools and processes to ensure seamless flow of information on quality concerns. Component Development:Ability to develop and procure components from vendors within time, cost, and quality objectives. Supplier Management:Experience in vendor analysis, rationalization, capacity assessment, and time frame agreement. Design Review:Ability to review design and manufacturing feasibility assessments with R&D.; Problem Solving:Proactive identification and resolution of issues, maintaining quality standards.
