Academic Leadership (Cambridge Focus)
- Ensure effective delivery of Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS & A Levels (as applicable).
- Lead curriculum planning aligned with Cambridge learner attributes and assessment objectives.
- Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, and learner outcomes.
- Promote inquiry-based, student-centered, and skill-oriented learning.
- Oversee internal assessments, checkpoints, and Cambridge examination processes.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Cambridge International standards, policies, and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with Cambridge authorities for registration, examinations, and professional development.
- Maintain academic records, policies, and documentation as required by Cambridge.
School Administration & Operations
- Manage day-to-day school operations efficiently.
- Recruit, mentor, and appraise teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Plan and monitor the school budget in coordination with management.
- Ensure safety, discipline, and wellbeing of students and staff.
Teacher Development
- Encourage continuous career development (CPD) aligned with Cambridge teaching practices.
- Organize teacher training, workshops, and academic reviews.
- Support teachers in curriculum delivery,
assessment strategies, and learner engagement.
Student Development
- Foster holistic development through academics, co-curricular, and global citizenship activities.
- Promote learner attributes such as confidence, responsibility, reflection, innovation, and engagement.
- Ensure inclusive education and student support systems.
Parent & Community Engagement
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with parents.
- Conduct parent orientations on Cambridge philosophy and assessment methods.
- Address concerns professionally and promptly.
Leadership & Representation
- Act as the key liaison between school management, Cambridge authorities, staff, and parents.
- Represent the school in inspections, audits, and academic forums.
- Drive school vision, mission, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Postgraduate degree with B.Ed./M.Ed. (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience, with 5 years in leadership, preferably in a Cambridge school.
- Strong understanding of Cambridge curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy.
