Role Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting financial reporting activities. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and Tally ERP/Tally Prime, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation. Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally ERP/Tally Prime. Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and supporting schedules. Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities, including timely filing of returns. Prepare vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies. Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting. Coordinate with auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits by providing required documentation. Monitor receivables and payables to ensure smooth cash flow management. Process journal entries, expense accounting, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, HR,



and Operations teams for finance-related activities. Support process improvements and maintain proper financial documentation. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all accounting activities. Location Thirumullaivoyal SIDCO, Avadi, Chennai Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in commerce (BCom), Finance, or Accounting. MBA (Finance) is an added advantage. 3–6 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance. Mandatory hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
