We have an chance in ACG Engineering of a Technical Writer – Master Spare Manual.

1. Job Objective

Development and review of Master Spares Manuals for ACGE machines to fulfil Master Documentation development plans.
1. Primary responsibilities

Strategic and Planning:
- Planning for executing on-time delivery of Master Spares Manuals in line with departmental goals
- Participate/Contribute to continuous improvement of Master Spares Manuals.

Functional:

Core

- Oversee Master Spares Manuals to fulfil documentation development plans.
- Develop and implement Spares Manuals for Key accounts/Major customers to support spares business function.
- Collaborate with cross functional team to obtain information to prepare Master Spares Manuals
- Understand stakeholder’s requirements, BOM, ECN, PLM, DDLC.
- Analyze gathered input information and interviewing CFT for corrections if any.




- Collaborate with Project Documentation Spares team to validate the Master Spare Parts Manuals
- Self-review of the Master Spares Manuals to ensure the accuracy of Spares Manual
- Drive CFT review to receive inputs from various functions for the improvement of Master Spare Parts Manuals
- Ontime & ‘First Time Right” completion of Master Spares Manuals with reference to ACGE Company standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering Team, Service and QA team to validate Master Spares Manuals
- Complete the project with the “Project Acceptance Form” involving all stakeholders.

Internal Process:

- Support Team lead to prepare and update departmental weekly/monthly report
- Prepare and Maintain reports on CFT feedback and improvement actions suggested by various functions

People Development:

- Drive and maintain Customer Centric culture within documentation teams to fulfil desired customer needs.
- Support team members to fulfil their job responsibilities.
- Support Project documentation writer to implement Master Spares Manual for projects.

1. Key Result Areas

- Ontime & ‘First Time Right” completion of Master Spares Manuals as per ACGE Company standards
- Self-review of the Master Spares Manuals to ensure the accuracy of documents.




- Drive CFT review to receive inputs from various functions for the improvement of Manuals.
- Validation of Master Spares Manuals
- Prepare Spares manuals for Key accounts/Major customers to support spares business function.

- Experience with Publication tool like Solid Edge 3D Publication or similar tool, Teamcenter Visualization, Content Management System, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator and MS Office suit
- Sound experience in Engineering Change Management / Change Control to prepare and maintain accurate Spares Manuals
- Sound Experience with SAP and Teamcenter
