Position Summary

UST is seeking an experienced Workday Extend Integration Lead to drive the design, development, implementation, and management of Workday integrations and Workday Extend solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Integrations, Workday Extend, Studio, EIB, web services, and enterprise integration technologies, with the ability to lead complex integration initiatives across Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Management domains.

This role requires strong technical leadership, client-facing communication skills, and experience delivering scalable integration solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and architecture of Workday integrations between Workday and external enterprise applications.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Extend applications and integration solutions.
- Develop and manage integrations using:
- Workday Studio
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Core Connectors
- Web Services
- Third-party integration platforms

- Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements.
- Define integration scope, architecture, and implementation strategy.
- Collaborate with clients, business users, and third-party vendors to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
- Ensure high-quality data exchange, system reliability, and process alignment across HCM, Payroll, Finance, and other business functions.
- Lead integration development lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Identify and resolve complex integration challenges while ensuring adherence to best practices.




- Proactively identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Drive process improvements and establish integration standards and methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to integration developers and project teams.
- Work effectively with global and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

- 6+ years of overall IT experience.
- 3+ years of consulting experience, preferably in a Senior Consultant or Lead role.
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday Integrations.
- Experience in at least one full lifecycle Workday implementation.
- Experience leading integration development and delivery activities.
